  1. Ribbon - 44 Hours Amalgamated Road Transport: ribbon. The ribbon has a safety pin attached to the u.c. of the ribbon. The l.l. to l.r. of the ribbon has a strip of silver thread attached to the bottom of the ribbon with two silver strips also sewn onto the ribbon. There are ten coiled metal tassels attached to the base of the ribbon from l.l. to l.r. beneath the silver thread. There is an insignia on the ribbon from c.l. to c.r. depicting a map of Australia and the words "44 HOURS" in gold coloured paint. There is also text in English in gold coloured paint from u.l. to u.r. and l.l. to l.r. [Text] (17.63)

Three blue lines appear at the top and bottom of the ribbon. Underneath this is text and a blue emblem. The emblem features a boot surrounded by the words 'Australian Boot Trade Employes Federation' and fancy crests. Underneath the emblem is the number of hours that the ribbon represents.
