Medal: Newcastle Regional Museum; A round silver medal in a storage case. The obverse side of the medal features a wreath, while the reverse side shows a female placing a wreath on the head of a kneeling male. The medal is attached to a blue ribbon by an ornately decorated clasp. A centrally hinged box, with gold inscriptions on the lid houses the medal.
