[57] apagoreuousês tês gunaikos mê haptesthai autois, kai legousês hoti hautês eiê en têi proiki tetimêmena kai hoti ‘ta probata echete pentêkonta kai ton paida kai ton poimena, pleionos axia ê katedikasasthe:’ apêngeile gar tis autois tôn geitonôn kopsas tên thuran. eti de ephê to argurion autois keimenon einai epi têi trapezêi: êkêkoei gar emou: ‘kan perimeinête’, ephê, ‘ê metelthêi tis humôn auton, echontes apite to argurion êdê: ta de skeuê eate, kai mêden tôn emôn pherete, allôs te kai echontes axia tês katadikês.’
