    Subject Description: Nude Eros, shown in the roughly the same relaxed pose of Apollo Sauroktonos , with his weight on his right leg, and his left leg slightly advanced, lowers his right arm and raises his left. The remains of wings indicated that the statue indeed depicted an Eros.

    Technique: Two struts, one on the upper right thigh (for attachment to the missing right arm) and another on the upper left thigh (for attachment to a missing tree trunk?), remain.

    Condition Description: Ony the torso, including right shoulder, and thighs remain. Neck, wings, arms, and lower legs are broken off. The surface is slightly chipped, particularly on the buttocks.
